Man, did Brandon Fuck it Up or What?
June 1, 2010
Well if you are breathing in the poker affiliate world you know that Aced.com went belly up and the Merge guys who are or are not CarbonPoker.com themselves (who the fuck knows) have attempted to salvage the bankruptcy and have managed to pay most of the affiliates, with the exception of a few ballers who are owed a combined sum of over six figures. (jesus Roger and Andreas you guys are animals… I don’t know how the hell you send that kind of traffic to a site like that and I work on pretty big sites myself! Sick…
Anyway, the following here is pure gossip / speculation but I’m just going to say it.
Skins come and go but the true value is the affiliate relationships.
You seemed to handle it pretty good from Stinky to Chan to Aced but this one stuck you pretty good. Hell I feel for you because I know you were in a bad spot, I can understand. You want to keep that traffic coming to show that new investor the ROI he demands and if you get that new investor you may be able to pull it off and get everyone paid and back on track but when you are paying the bills with credit cards then your in trouble. It was a gamble… a desperation gamble even at that and you lost. I know I expected big things from Aced.com when they launched and it seemed like once the Jamie Gold fiasco happened that there were no additional ideas or efforts to recruit a base of poker players. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think so.
Shitty situation and I expect more and more skins to fail, especially those skins that do not actively market to bring in RECREATIONAL players. This is the way the wind is blowing. Plan accordingly fellow affiliates.

Party Poker USA April Fools Bitches
PokerProp’s post on that page wins my favorite post so far this year!
What else is going on. Oh yeah and idiot copies content, spams and gets rankings, gets called out and doesn’t realize that copying content is theft. Idiot of the month award goes to cyberfox.
I learned google claims that .com = .info as far as they are concerned. Bullllllshit. And it looks like there is going to be another Vegas meet up for Jeremy to puss out on,
– ah just kidding. It will probably be me pussing out this year. Fuck those full body scanners, fuck em and Las Vegas has them. They won’t attack Vegas cause Vegas will come get that ass Mobster style still.
Did the PAP Forums Close Down?
September 28, 2009
Not that I really care, but the forums at PAP have been down for many days now. According to investigative web expert in all things SEO, the last cache google has for them is September 22nd and as I take the time to finally post something here agin, it is almost 5pm on the 28th and their forums are still down.
Did they just say screw it?
Did they get hacked?
Do they even realize they are down?
One of the funniest things is that no one has mentioned it on the PAL forums as of yet except in private. I wonder if all the ‘all in programs’ pulled out at once? I wonder if they’ll get reimbursed for their media buy?
Ahh who cares really, it’s not like anyone ever posted there anyway except king cobra and the rest of the PAP shills. Oh yeah the head dude Bob Rains also posted some (cough pirated content)… how’d that work out when he linked up to the pirated stuff, bahaha.
Good times, good times.
Here’s some related PAP Info

Jeremy Enke Pusses out on Vegas Meetup 2009
May 25, 2009
Jeremy Enke, founder of PAL, the largest Poker Affiliate forum on the intertubes, has officially pussed out on Vegas 2009.
It seems he can’t bring his self away from his gheyborhood olympics or his growing passion for unicycling and golf.

We’d like to take this moment to call him out for being a puss. I don’t know whether it was the amount of money he spent last trip to Vegas in at the strip club, but I hear it was quite the time for all involved.
Jeremy, it’s supposed to rain this weekend in Rockford so the yearly olympics will be postponed anyway… and seriously how hard is it for you to get Karl to footrace you down the street anyway?
The potato sack race will be there when you get back, and the three legged bobsled needs to wait till winter anyway. Props to Brandon Berndt, affiliate consultant for Aced Poker for the fine fine photo of Jeremy practicing his unicycling skills.
Jeremy, quit being a puss and come out to Vegas.

CAP, PAP, Cardspike Drama Comes to a Head
February 24, 2009
Oh the irony
oh the folly
of Lou Fabaino
and Warren Jolly.
Well, who couldn’t see this train wreck coming a few months back? With claims of embezzlement, millions stolen, admissions and accusations, we are proud to deliver the following:
I think this about sums it up the best.

"I'm the Majority Share Holder of This Shit"
Fuckin’ Cardspike and PAP
January 4, 2009
Man what the hell…CardSpike has gone all to shit or was always has been shit. Gotta go blacklist the piece of content i did for them… PITA. I. Don’t waste your time or monies promoting them. Long story short is they haven’t paid affiliates in forever. Dealer Dan sums it up nicely again and stories have been appearing on the big poker media outlets like G911 and 2+2. Also props out to Kaus aka the online slots content producing machine for rounding up a ton of good articles on the situation.
And now to PAP…aka “prof’s house”
I pretty much stay out of the debates like these in the forums but the PAP dudes, other than Randy Ray, seriously can suck it.
Jeremy confirms what we all knew anyway… c&d bs… lawsuits threatned… really? That really what you want to do now? Your best bet would be to just go quiet and let Randy Ray salvage what is left of the train wreck you created. Whatever you are paying him, it isn’t enough.
It was you assholes who went on a banning spree.
It was you assholes who deleted threads for no good reason.
It was you assholes who went and fucked up your forums. The PAP forums, when Randy first took over, were going great. Sincerely… I mean Randy Ray had thoughtful, productive, and engaging content that had the forums going nearly about as best as they ever had been. Then you guys start going all commando style ‘profs house’ bullshit. Just suck it PAP, you blew it. Morons.
Suck it PAP and suck it Cardspike.
the end
So Much Drama at the P.A.Peeee
November 24, 2008
With so much drama at the P.A.P, it’s kind of hard being Snoop d o double gee.
Holy shit did it hit the fan at the PAP forums the week before Thanksgiving.
Professor, Lou, and by proxy Randy have hit the ‘reset’ button on the PAP forums, deleting a shit pile of posts and banning tons of users for expressing negative opinions. The only thread I can see left is this one by some dude named wemege who is wondering why all the threads are deleted. It might be gone before you get a chance to read it.
Now if you haven’t heard, Jeremy Enke retired as the PAP admin a while back. Not too long after, a new poker affiliate forum was launched and it is by invitation only so you’re going to have to know somebody to get in. It’s already probably the most active poker affiliate forum on the market.
I don’t know the details of what happened to cause the huge rift, but I do know Lou and the Professor went apeshit on posts over at PAP, deleting and editing posts and for some unknown reason, someone on their staff posted as Jeremy on their forums for some random reason. What they hell ever made someone on PAP think it was a good idea to log into Jeremys account (which he was banned from) and make a stupid ass post like ‘yes thank you’ or something to one of ‘professors house’ post is beyond me. I don’t get it.
It pissed off some of the affiliates at PAL and a shit storm went to brewing. Props to the man Dealer Dan for snagging some of the great posts that were deleted in the frenzy. Dealer Dan’s PDF file of the action.
So, along with that it now seems that Greg has been released with his contract with CardSpike. Looks like they are turning out to have some serious issues and I’m looking to remove them from my top 10 list on one of my sites. Previously I had opted to add them in as Greg’s reputation in the industry.
Personally, I’ll still be reading posts over at PAP on occassion but my posts will mostly take place on PAL going forward.
Here is some of the best imagery to capture the drama:

Who's House? Prof's House!

Prof's House
Nice effort from My Poker Corner.
If you’re a member of PAL, the threads that mostly relate to this are here: Get Banned from PAP Contest, CAP/PAP Post under Jeremys Name
A few cool things have resulted from all of this. First and foremost the new forums at PAL seem like they are really going to be something special. If you are a serious poker affiliate you need to be there. I also love that there are now multiple poker affiliate radio shows to choose from. Production value and timing of the hosts goes, hands down to the guys at Affiliate Life Radio.
The End of an Era – Jeremy Enke Retires as PAP Admin
October 15, 2008

Jeremy Enke - Affiliate Baller
He is the single reason that the forums have became as successful as they are today, and he is the only one that knows the whole story about how the forums ended up as they have now! Let’s just say it has sometimes been a bumpy ride
.
Jeremy, thanks man… you are an inspiration and a friend.
Can’t wait to see what you bring out next.
WSOP Final Table Delay
May 9, 2008
One of the major topics of the week over at the Poker Affiliate Forums has been the fact that the WSOP is delaying the play of the final table for nearly four full months so they can hype the final table and broadcast the final table nearly live.
Jeremy asked in the forum what we thought about all thought about it and there were some mixed responses. Generally the idea is that affiliates will end up making more money on this but that the tournament itself is going to pretty much suck.
It’s pretty obvious that Jeremy is against the idea and pointed out that the media outlets covering the event are going to get pinched pretty bad. Companies like PokerNews are flying in people from Australia for the event and now they are only going to get to cover up to the start of the final table w/o having to send everyone home and then back out again in three and a half months, adding in a huge extra expense for the coverage.
The question I pose though, is it going to be worth it all around from a business standpoint IF it rekindles another huge spark in poker?
The idea of the WSOP delaying the final table event was first brought up by PPP who later commented that he shouldn’t have so freely given away linkbait opportunity. It also looks like Back In Black was one of the first to see the opportunity for linkbait and scored a link from the PokerStars Blog even. Nicely done dude, sometimes it pays to be first to get up some quality content on a subject, got a few thousand visitors and lots of link love.
